Christmas and New Year time is the most magical time of the year. And it always comes at the same dates each year, however, we are never ready for it! Am I right?

That’s why I made several tutorials full of tips&tricks how to wrap last minute gift beautifully if you have nothing for wrapping at home. This guide is for presents that don’t have their own box. In my case, it’s scarf and necklace. Necklace wrapping is hard, because you need to fix it appropriately.

If you have a printer, cardboard piece (that you can take from the box of your favorite flakes, for example), simple A4 paper and some rope you can create a modern DIY wrapping for your prezent. So don’t panic, just follow the simple steps and stay incredible!

You need:
  • 3 A4 paper sheets
  • Piece of cardboard
  • Scissors
  • Printer
  • Glue stick
  • Adhesive tape
  • Double sided adhesive tape
  • Rope
  • Ribbon

Time: 15 minutes

Prepare everything, print some nice image on A4 and let's go!

1. Cut out piece of cardboard of needed size

2. Wrap the one side of cardboard in your printed stuff using adhesive tape.

3. Connect 2 sheets of A4 paper with a glue stick.

4. Fix the ribbon with double sided adhesive tape on the back side of cardboard.

5. Stick the construction with ribbon to the center of 2 white sheets.

6. Then put your present inside and fix it with ribbon.

7. Wrap all sides of paper to cover the content.

8. Just tape everything!

9. Wrap the rope beautifully around your package.

10. Attach some decorations to a rope. You may use flowers, branches, feather, etc. I used origami rooster I made recently. You can find it's tutorial here It looks great and fits my packaging perfectly, because I used the same pattern inside my packaging.
