This tutorial is useful for the boxes that have a separate lid. The base of my box was white, that's why I decided to decorate only the lid of the box. But if you wish, you can wrap the bottom part of the box the same way.

In this wrapping, choice of print plays very important role. I recommend to choose large print for the top part of the lid and more neutral wrapping paper for the sides. Looks great if they are in the same color, but one is more light, another is darker – it makes a good contrast effect.
I used Blue Christmas digital paper set by CatMadePattern.
But if you wish, you may choose different colors combination as well.

2 A4 paper sheets
Printer
Scissors
Decorative edge scissors
Glue stick
Adhesive tape
Double sided adhesive tape
Vignette or some other decorations

1. Make sure that the size of the paper fits the box. If not, you can connect several sheets together. Just be creative with that – make curve or diagonal connection line. Than fix 2 short edges of paper to a box with tape.
2. Bend the rest sides of paper to have a nice sharp edge.
3. Stick those edges using a double-sided tape. Hide all the excess inside to make the surface look accurate.
4. Cut out 4 stripes a bit wider than the borders of your lid (to wrap it underneath) from the second paper. Use the decorative edge scissors to make a nice curve line. If you don't have decorative scissors, you can make, for example, a zigzag with simple scissors.
5. Glue 2 stripes to the side of your box to overlap the first wrapping paper nicely.
6. Then stick the rest 2 sides using double-sided adhesive tape. Bend the edges inside to hide the excess.
7. Bend and stick inside the lid all the free edges of paper to get everything look ready.
Nice tender and stylish wrapping for your present is ready!
